Conferences and trade fairs at Fira Barcelona and the CCIB

Fira Gran Via, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, sits between the airport and the city centre and hosts the largest congresses, MWC among them. Fira Montjuïc is next to Plaça d'Espanya, and the CCIB is at the far end of the Diagonal, by the Fòrum. Each venue has its own vehicle access points, and we take them into account when we set pick-up points.

For a conference we handle delegate arrivals at El Prat, shuttles between hotels and the venue in the morning and at closing time, and cars at the disposal of speakers and VIP guests during the day. MWC has a page of its own: MWC Barcelona chauffeur.

When the congress is at Gran Via and delegates stay in central or seafront hotels, the early-morning shuttle saves the most time, because the roads into the venue tend to fill up on opening days. We set departures from each hotel with enough margin to arrive before the first session.

Delegate arrivals and coordination on the day

At an international conference, delegates arrive on different flights over one or two days. Send us the list with names, flight numbers and hotels, and we match each arrival to the right vehicle: an E-Class for a speaker travelling alone, a V-Class for a team of 7, or a minibus when several flights land together.

We track every flight, and the 1 h 15 min of free waiting after landing applies to each pick-up. If a flight is several hours late, we tell your team and fit the pick-up around the other arrivals.

Before the event we go through the plan with you: vehicles, timings, pick-up points and the passengers on each run. On the day you have a single phone number for any change: a speaker leaving early, a group staying on for dinner or a flight that moves.

Our team assists delegates in four languages: Spanish, Catalan, English and French. If there are children among the guests, child seats are free: note it on the list.

Galas, company dinners and award nights

At a gala, the hard part is the end of the night, when many guests want to leave at once. We agree the expected finishing time with you, position the cars wherever the venue allows and send guests off by hotel or by area of the city.

For arrivals we use the Mercedes S-Class or E-Class when protocol calls for it, and minibuses or coaches to bring most guests from the hotel. If dinner runs late, let us know; extra waiting is charged separately and we confirm it with you on the night.

Example plan: a gala dinner on Montjuïc has 100 guests. Request two coaches at midnight for hotels in the centre. Request three S-Class cars for the board. We confirm availability and times before you book.

Corporate events and incentive trips

We move teams for product launches, sales conventions, off-site meetings and incentive trips with a day out in the Penedès wine country or on the Costa Brava. We plan the timings, pick-up points and vehicles, and you deal with one contact for all the logistics. Companies that run events often can use our executive car service and receive a single monthly invoice.

Weddings

Weddings have a dedicated service covering the couple's car, ceremony and reception timings, and guest transfers to country houses and estates. You will find it under wedding car hire.

Getting a quote

To prepare a quote we need the dates, the number of attendees, the venues, approximate timings and which guests need a car of their own. We send you a fixed price before the event, and asking for it costs nothing. Vehicles book up early during big congress weeks, so get in touch as soon as your dates are set.
