Barcelona's cruise terminals

Barcelona's cruise port uses terminals on the Adossat Wharf and the Barcelona Wharf. Your cruise line assigns a terminal for each sailing. Check your travel documents for your ship's terminal.

Port works and operations can change access points. Before the service, we confirm your cruise line, ship and assigned terminal with you. Your chauffeur waits at the agreed pick-up point.

From the ship to the airport, Sants or your hotel

Your cruise line gives you a disembarkation time or group. Send us that time and the number of suitcases, and we agree the pick-up time with you. From that time you have 30 minutes of free waiting. If disembarkation or baggage collection takes longer, message us on WhatsApp; extra waiting is charged separately.

From the Adossat Wharf to El Prat Airport it is about 20 km along the Ronda Litoral and the C-31. In normal traffic the drive takes 20 to 30 minutes to T1 or T2. If you fly home the same day, tell us your flight time and terminal and we will suggest a pick-up time that leaves room for check-in.

If you are staying on in Barcelona, we drop you at your hotel door. We can also take you to Sants station for an onward train, or straight to Sitges, the Costa Brava or Andorra.

Before you sail: airport or hotel to the terminal

On embarkation day we collect you from the airport, your hotel or Sants and take you to your ship's terminal. If you land the same day, our Barcelona Airport to cruise port transfer includes flight tracking and 1 h 15 min of free waiting from the moment your plane lands.

The Adossat Wharf is about 6 km from a city-centre hotel. The drive takes around 15 minutes without traffic. Your cruise line lists the boarding window in your travel documents. We plan pick-up around that window. We allow extra time for rush-hour traffic on the Ronda Litoral.

Private cars may stop outside the terminals to drop off passengers and luggage, but they cannot park there. Your chauffeur unloads the bags beside the terminal entrance.

If you fly into Girona or Reus, we also drive you from either airport to the port. Girona Airport is about 100 km away, a little over an hour in light traffic.

A day in Barcelona on a port call

If your ship calls at Barcelona for the day, see our cruise shore excursions service. Your chauffeur collects you at the terminal. Choose visits to the Sagrada Família, Park Güell or Montserrat. We agree a return time with a margin before your cruise line’s boarding deadline.

Tell us when the ship docks and the all-aboard time, and we will suggest a plan with room for traffic. If you travel light and only want to reach the centre, the port runs a shuttle, the Cruise Bus, between the Adossat Wharf terminals and the city; check current times and fares on portdebarcelona.cat.

Families and groups with plenty of luggage

Tell us how many large suitcases you are bringing and we will choose the vehicle. The Mercedes E-Class takes 3 passengers and 3 suitcases. The V-Class takes up to 7 passengers and 7 suitcases and is the easiest choice for families. Groups of 8 to 19 travel by minibus, and groups of 20 to 55 by coach.

Child seats are free if you request them when you book. We confirm a fixed price before the trip, with tolls and luggage included, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 h before pick-up.
