Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Sabadell: route, journey time and vehicles
Sabadell is about 40 km from T1 at Barcelona El Prat. Your chauffeur has two usual routes and picks one on the day according to traffic. The first climbs the Ronda de Dalt (B-20), crosses the Collserola hills through the Vallvidrera tunnels (C-16, a toll road) and reaches Sabadell via Sant Cugat. The second follows the Ronda Litoral (B-10) to the Trinitat interchange and then the C-58 motorway, about 45 km in all. Without traffic, either one takes 40 to 45 minutes.
The C-58 is one of the busiest motorways in Catalonia. On weekdays it fills up early in the morning and again when offices close, and so do Barcelona's ring roads. If you land in those windows, allow some extra time. The price we confirm when you book includes tolls and stays the same even if your chauffeur has to take the longer road. For an early flight home, we suggest a pick-up time based on the day of the week and your terminal.
In and around Sabadell we drive you to the door: a hotel in the centre, an office on the Eix Macià, Parc Taulí hospital, a unit on one of the Vallès Occidental industrial estates, or a home in Sant Quirze or Castellar del Vallès. The old centre has pedestrian streets. If your address is on one, your chauffeur stops at the nearest street with car access and helps you with the cases. Sabadell airport handles general aviation only: flying schools, private flights and aerial work, with no airline flights. If you are on a scheduled flight, you land at El Prat and this is your transfer. If you arrive on a private flight at Sabadell, say so when you ask for a quote and we will collect you there.
Do you go through the Vallvidrera tunnels or along the C-58?
