Barcelona Airport to Manresa private transfer

Manresa is about 65 km from El Prat, and two routes take roughly the same time. The first climbs the Ronda de Dalt ring road (B-20), passes under the Collserola hills through the Vallvidrera tunnels and follows the C-16 motorway past Sant Cugat and Terrassa. The tunnels and the C-16 are both tolled, and your price includes those tolls. Without traffic you arrive in about 55 minutes.

The other route takes the A-2 to Abrera and then the C-55 up the Llobregat valley through Olesa de Montserrat and Monistrol, at the foot of the mountain, to Manresa. It is toll-free but has more roundabouts. Your chauffeur picks the route on the day: the B-20 and the tunnel approach fill up at rush hour, and the A-2 often jams between Molins de Rei and Martorell.

Your chauffeur waits at the arrivals exit of T1 or T2 holding a sign with your name. Because we track your flight, the pick-up time follows your landing, and you have 1 h 15 min of waiting included from touchdown. For the return, give us your flight time and terminal and we will suggest when to leave Manresa. If we collect you from a company or the UPC university campus after a meeting, courtesy waiting there is 15 minutes and extra time is charged; if the meeting may run late, book the hourly service instead.

In Manresa, the 14th-century Gothic basilica of La Seu stands on a rock above the Pont Vell, the old bridge over the River Cardener. Across the river is the Cova de Sant Ignasi, the sanctuary where, by tradition, Ignatius of Loyola withdrew to meditate and write his Spiritual Exercises. It is also the end of the Camí Ignasià, a pilgrim trail many people walk. The old town has steep, narrow streets, so if you are staying inside it, your chauffeur stops at the nearest accessible point and helps with your bags.

From Manresa, Montserrat is about 30 minutes away and the salt mountain at Cardona about half an hour to the north. If you would like to stop at Montserrat on the way from the airport, tell us when you book and we will confirm a fixed price that includes the stop. In October the Fira Mediterrània fills the town with performances and performing-arts professionals; if you are coming then, book early.
