Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Sant Cugat: route, journey time and vehicles
Sant Cugat del Vallès is about 30 km from T1 at Barcelona El Prat and about 28 km from T2. Your chauffeur takes the Ronda de Dalt (B-20) and crosses the Collserola hills through the Vallvidrera tunnels (C-16), which come out a few minutes from the town centre. Without traffic, the drive takes about 30 minutes. The tunnels are tolled, and the toll is part of the fixed price.
If an accident or a queue blocks the tunnels, the alternative is the B-23 and the AP-7. It is a little longer, but you avoid sitting still under Collserola. On weekdays the Ronda de Dalt fills up at rush hour, so if you land early in the morning or in the early evening, allow some margin. The price we confirm does not depend on the route.
We drop you anywhere in the municipality: the centre by Sant Cugat monastery and its Romanesque cloister, offices on the business parks, the Esade campus on Avinguda Torreblanca, or the Club de Golf Sant Cugat. For Valldoreix, Mira-sol or La Floresta, give us the exact street and number, and if the entrance is hard to spot from the road, tell us how to find it.
There is no direct train from the airport to Sant Cugat. The usual way is the Aerobús to Plaça de Catalunya and then the S1 or S2 line of the FGC, Catalonia's regional railway, to Sant Cugat station. If you live on one of the residential estates, you still have some way to go from the station. With luggage or children, a car takes you to the door with no changes.
